SANTIAGO ISLAND, GALAPAGOS, ECUADOR - MAY 15: Dr. Frank Sulloway (R) and Chris Sasaki (L) backpack across a massive lava flow during an expedition in May, 2006. The expedition re-traced the route hiked by Charles Darwin in 1835. Dr. Sulloway's goal was to find the exact locations along the route where he had taken photographs in the early '70s, and re-take those shots, using the before-and-after images to track changes in the island's ecosystem.
