This internship, located in Aurora's Portland, Maine headquarters, focuses on executing the marketing plan of Aurora Photos photography archive through HTML emails, social media, and in some cases, printed pieces.
Qualifications:
We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, organized, team-oriented individual, with an eye for design, photography, and typography; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and an understanding of, and experience in, HTML marketing emails and social media platforms.
Duties:
- Independently, and together with Aurora's sales team, identify sets of images to feature in HTML marketing emails
- Design and execute HTML marketing emails
- Manage email lists for HTML marketing emails
- Drive social media efforts by posting photos, links, and comments to Aurora's Facebook pages and Twitter feed
- Update Aurora's News blog
Requirements:
- Excellent design skills
- Experience using design software including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Experience blogging and using Word Press
- Advanced understanding of, and experience using, social media and networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and linkedin.
- Passion for photography
Location: Portland, Maine
Hours: 40 hours a week
Start date: Immediate
Length: 12 weeks
Compensation: $8.00/hour
